How much does a cleaning business website cost?
What residential and commercial cleaning companies pay for a website, based on real published prices, and which pages and features are worth paying for. Written by Bildz, a website service for small businesses.
Prices checked October 25–26, 2026. Last updated October 26, 2026.
The short answer
A website for a residential cleaning business, usually four to six pages, typically costs $500 to $1,500 upfront plus hosting, or $59 to $299 a month with no upfront fee, based on published prices we checked in October 2026.
A commercial cleaning company that wants more pages for different building types costs more: $1,000 to $4,900 upfront for a site of up to about ten pages.
Cleaning customers mostly want to know what you clean, where you work, what it roughly costs and how to get a quote. Residential and commercial customers look for different things, so the two kinds of website are covered separately below.
What a residential cleaning website needs
- Your services, clearly separated: regular cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, and short-term rental turnovers if you offer them.
- Packages or starting prices, if you're comfortable publishing them. Many homeowners want a rough idea before they ask for a quote.
- A quote request form that asks for the details you need, like home size, number of bathrooms and how often they want cleaning.
- Your service area, listed by town or neighbourhood.
- Trust signals: reviews, photos of your team, and whether you're insured and bonded. People are letting you into their homes.
- Easy contact on mobile, with tap-to-call and text options.
That usually fits in four to six pages: Home, Services, Pricing or Packages, About, Reviews and Contact.
What a commercial cleaning website needs
Commercial buyers are often office managers, property managers or strata councils comparing several companies. They want evidence that you're reliable and properly set up.
- Services by type of building: offices, retail, strata buildings, medical clinics and other facilities you clean.
- Credentials: liability insurance, bonding, and in BC your WorkSafeBC coverage, since many clients ask for a clearance letter.
- An estimate request form for commercial jobs, asking for building type, size and cleaning frequency.
- Testimonials from business clients, with the type of property where possible.
- A more formal presentation, and possibly a downloadable capability statement for procurement staff.
That's typically five to eight pages. If you serve several cities or building types, separate pages for each add to the page count.

Over three years, the entry options for a small site ranged from about $1,700 to $10,800 in our check. Bonmorrow's cleaning-specific plan comes to $2,124.
What adds cost for cleaning companies
- Online booking and payment. Letting customers book and pay for a clean online usually means connecting scheduling software, which can cost extra. A good quote form is enough for many cleaners to start.
- Instant price calculators. A form that quotes a price from home size and frequency is custom work.
- Pages for every town or building type. They can help with local searches but add pages.
- Frequent price changes. Cleaners often adjust packages and seasonal promotions. If every change is billed by the hour, keeping the site current gets expensive.
- Marketing services. SEO, ads and review management are usually billed monthly on top of the website.
Where Bildz fits
Bildz designs a standard website of up to five pages for accepted applicants at no design cost, which suits most residential cleaning businesses. You review the finished site before committing. If you keep it, the plan is CA$27/month plus applicable taxes after a 30-day free trial you choose to activate, with hosting included. That's about $945 over three years.
Changes are self-service: describe them in plain English, like "Add move-out cleaning to our services" or "Our spring deep clean special ends May 31", and review the update before it goes live.
Bildz may not suit you if you need online booking and payments built into the site, more than five pages for different towns or building types, or someone to make every change for you. Bildz reviews every application and may decline projects that aren't a good fit. Full details are on the free website offer page.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a website for a cleaning business cost?
In our October 2026 check of published prices, a residential cleaning website of about five pages cost $500 to $1,500 upfront plus hosting, or $59 to $299 a month with no upfront fee. A larger commercial cleaning site of up to ten pages cost $1,000 to $4,900 upfront.
Should a cleaning company put prices on its website?
It often helps. Many homeowners want a rough idea before asking for a quote, so starting prices or packages can bring in better-matched enquiries. If your jobs vary too much, explain what affects the price and make the quote form easy to use.
Does a cleaning business need online booking?
Not to get started. A clear quote request form works for most residential and commercial cleaners. Online booking and payment are useful for recurring residential customers, but they usually add cost because they need scheduling software.
What should a commercial cleaning website show?
The types of buildings you clean, your insurance and bonding, your WorkSafeBC coverage if you're in BC, testimonials from business clients and an estimate request form. Commercial buyers often compare several companies, so make your credentials easy to find.
