Bildz vs Wix, Squarespace and GoDaddy

The main ways a small business gets a website, compared on who does the work, what it costs and when each is the better choice. Written by Bildz, so we've stuck to facts from each company's own website and said where they're the better fit.

The short answer

Wix, Squarespace and GoDaddy are do-it-yourself website builders. Their entry plans cost CA$13 to CA$30 a month, and you build, write and maintain the site yourself, with AI tools to help.

Bildz designs and builds the website for you if your application is accepted, and you change it by describing what you want. It costs CA$27 a month plus applicable taxes after a 30-day free trial, which is more than some builder plans and less than most web designers.

The real choice isn't about price so much as who does the work. If you enjoy building and want features like an online store, a builder gives you more for less money. If you'd rather not build a website at all, Bildz does that part for you.
